Hi Guys,

it is a sincere pleasure to be a part of this august forum....from what i have seen here & have heard....this forum rocks!!!

i have a new, mildly modified (for performance) petrol elantra 2006. hope to hear from anyone about the elantra.

with a 1.8 liter engine & relatively light body, not to mention the safety features like abs, tcs, airbags, this car has all the right stuff to take ypu to the limits in the quickest & safest way!!!

any comments???

Hi 1self, Welcome to the Team-BHP. To be honest, most Team-BHPians (including yours truly) prefer the common-rail variants of the Elantra and Accent. I presume its going to be the same with the Verna.

Please do read the board rules to familiarise yourself with our protocol.

Hey bro,
welcome aboard and enjoy your stay here.
How come you went for the petrol Elantra instead of the CRDi version?
Anyways, enjoy your stay here.
Cheers

or the petrol version for 2 reasons...1) since i do not stay in india for more than 4 months of the year i need not look at consumption figures & 2) i do speeds of 210 kmph (as per the odo) on the expressway....the vehicle feels so stable & planted....its a mindblowing adrenalin rush!!!

Welcome to TBHP.

Don't remember if anybody's having petrol Elantra here. Spend little more time with your car and write an ownership experience..
