Hi All

Age 35...live in Mumbai (just moved here from Bangalore). Came across this site while "googling" for new car reviews...basically Fiesta 1.6 sxi vs NHC ZX GXi. Finally opted for a Gxi as I previously owned an Ikon and was not too happy about Ford's service.

Something about myself....been a car and bike freak for as long as I can remember....have owned some pretty decent machinery in my time including an FZR 400 (pre EXUP) and a toyota celica (1990 model). Dream of someday getting myself a V-Rod and the M3.

After spending quite some time on this site, must say that people here are really well informed and at times the threads make quite addictive reading....main reason for signing up.

Look forward to interacting with everyone.

Welcome to the forum, buddy. Nice choice there with the Gxi. What FE does it return you in city and highways ?

Thanks Supreme Baleno...still early days yet (have only done ~300 km). Still not taken it out on the highway yet, but planning trip to Surat in near future. First impressions....very smooth car to drive in city. Haven't felt the lack of power yet....maybe on the highway??

Yeah, it is supposed to be great in the city. And not that powerful for the highways. But then, given the state of our highways, IMO it should be more than adequate.

Anyway do monitor the FE (city & highways) and keep us updated. Asking bcos there is quite some ambiguity about the NHC's FE (started by some automag that pegged the FE at 25kmpl). So, would be useful to have some actual user figures.
