Hello BHPians!!

Hello every one on team-BHp.
This post has been long over due now, but better late than never.
I am a 30 year old marine engineer by profession and have had the pleasure of being accepted in to team-bhp last september. Unfortunately due to my sailing schedule and time limitation at home and after all my laziness have not been able to introduce myself.
I am sailing as a chief engineer for one of the bigger shipping companies based out of denmark. As my profession might suggest, i love to travel and by default love all things moving, be it ships, cars or motor bike. therefore i think team bhp gives me a very good outlet for gaining and sharing knowledge about the automotive and travel world.
I have bought my first car when i was 22 years of age and have been hooked to driving ever since. Below is a brief mention of the cars that i have owned:
santro-- 2005 till2010
ANHC-- 2010 till 2013
XUV5OO-- 2013 till present.
I have recently been married, and unlike many others my wife is also a driving enthusiast and therefore we have done roughly 4 long trips across south india, each being roughly 3000+ kms.

Looking forward to reading and sharing some great experiences as we move along.
Thanks & Regards,
Mandar.

Re: Hello BHPians!!

Welcome Mandar to our very own TBHP. Very interesting to hear about your profession and even your hobby both of which are linked to travelling!

As you know there are many avenues where you can contribute in this forum both auto and non auto.

There is even one threat that will interest you and could contribute-

Cheers!

Thank you very much girish.
The thread pointed out by you looks really exciting. I had no idea such a thread existed. Hope I can learn some new things and if possible contribute a few things.
Glad to be on Tbhp!!
