Hello From HSR, Bangalore

Hi All,

Great to be part of this team and happy to be posting my first thread. This is Vinod from HSR Layout in Bangalore, 37 yrs old and Sales Manager with a leading IT MNC. I have used Team-bhp extensively over the past couple of years and it feels great to be a member of this forum. I currently own a Skoda Superb, Elegance 1.8 TSI MT and earlier I used to drive SX4 - ZXI (08) , Fiesta-ZXI (06) , Indica (04) and Maruti 800 (2000).

I have been seriously following the automobile scene since 2010 and I believe this forum will help me stay close to the action. Other times I do what my heart tells me to - watch movies, read books, listen to music, write travel blogs, do career counselling or just go on a long walk!! I also follow cricket, EPL and Formula -1 on Television besides looking for partners with whom I can play badminton at the HSR club on a regular basis.

Looking forward to making new friends here, exchanging ideas and getting involved in some great debate. Cheers!!

Welcome aboard TBHP, skvinod. Please make it a point to go through the rules so that you enjoy a pleasant stay on this forum.

Nice cars you have owned. Guess there is quite a bit of petrol or engine oil in your veins.

Thanks pganapathy. Yes, one could say petrol in my veins. Petrol engines with MT it is for me. Old school of thought, but works well for me.

Well, am from HSR too. I went to check with HSR club if they allow non members to just use the sports complex (badminton to be specific), but was unlucky. Am searching for a place nearby where I can start playing!
Any suggestions?

Hi Vinod! Welcome to Team-BHP! Nice to see you have been following this forum.
A petrolhead then! I have a preference towards petrol too but got inclined towards diesels because of rising fuel costs!
