I feel the need, the need for speed!

Hi guys, i guess i have never had bigger smile on my face except when i held my son for the first time. For after lot of efforts, finally have entered the holy grail of every Indian automotive enthusiast. Well here's the brief on me :
1. Name : Anshuman Patial.
2. Age : 30 yrs.
3. Occupation : Army Helicopter Pilot.
4. Status : Married, with a 1 yr old son.
5. Garage : Dec 2010 ANHC S-MT(Alabaster Silver),
Oct 2004 Bajaj Pulsar 180(Black) and my chopper

6. Motto : Heaven is a place on four wheels and three rotor blades !
7. Dream Cars : Jaguar XJ 220(what curves!),
Lamborghini Diablo(what doors man!)
Ferrari F40 (the red paint itself was enough)
8. First words : Caa (well that was how i referred to my first car toy) that's it folks. i hope that will share the passion with fellow bhp-ians as hoped and be of some assistance. Keep revving guys and drive safe. Cheers!

What chopper do you fly, btw? Your TBHP join date suggests Nov 2011 and your 1st post in Jan 2012!!!

I guess our jobs are with an added twist, thats it and we enjoy ourselves as everyone else!
well yes am on a cheetah right now n enjoying every moment of taming the 870 SHP engine and the additional third dimension.
And Ace F355 our schedules sometimes get a little jampacked that is why so much of gap in expressing my joy. Apologies.

Well, I understand the twist you are talking about! But then, it applies to almost any job in the world, isn't it. Guess now we have a Army flier, should be a worthy addition a tiny number of Armed Forces officers on board.

Do share your experiences (good/bad/worse!! doesn't matter) with rest of us. Looking forward to see you among various online discussions a wee bit more often. Good luck.

Welcome aboard sir!

I grew up in an army atmosphere (my dad was in the army- 9 para).
Today, I seriously regret not having joined the forces, envy the lifestyle and respect that you guys get man.

Just to think of it, if i had listened to dad and joined the army then, i would have been MAJOR Aadhitya

(Iam 30 years old, do you become a major by then or still captian?)

Have as great stay on TBHP
