[Mark 5]

Hi all!
Today my wish finally came true! My Team-BHP membership was approved just an hour ago after previously attempting 4 times (yeah that's right!).
I am trying for the past 6 months but just checked out right now (not really expecting to be approved) and OMG!! my membership had been approved!
I would like to thank the Team-BHP moderators for making my dream come true.

Well now something to share with the Team-BHP community:
I am a student pursuing M.Sc but whose real passion lies in cars and photography.

I am not an enthusiast driver but the one who prefers to follow the rules on the book (of course sometimes I unleash the enthusiast in me but then my Dad objects to it and thus I have to curb my instincts )

My recent purchase is Hyundai i20 Magna (P) which was solely bought for its Looks, Space, Quality interiors and reasonable fuel efficiency (some may beg to differ on my views but that's ok. After all everybody has a particular reason to buy the car he/she wants, isn't it?)

My previous ride is an Maruti Omni E (LPG), which in no way is a true car lover's car but still manages to do its job well.

My Dream Car would be a Hatch (I prefer Hatchbacks over Sedans, maybe due to their ease of driving and parking) which would have the following features:
1) Exterior looks of the i20 (because I own one).
2) 90 PS i-VTEC engine of the Honda Jazz or the 85 PS K12B engine of the MSIL Swift (Hyundai's 1.2 Kappa engine is just okay for the i20 dunno about i10).
3) Interiors like the i20 (again) but quality a little better like that of the German/Czech car manufacturers like VW/Skoda.
4)Interior space like that of the TATA Indica Vista or the i20 (both are quiet similar in passenger space except i20 has a bigger boot space)
5) Ride and handling like that of the FIAT Punto.
6) Strong feature list like that of the i20 (yet again!) but safety features available on the lower variants as well like the Nissan Micra or the New Skoda Fabia.
7) Fuel efficiency like that of the Jazz/Swift.
8) And the last and most important of all is the VFM pricing of the Ford Figo (I like this car only for this reason).

I wish that such a car is bought in India then it will surely sell the chart sales on fire and the competitors will have to bite the dust then!

But as I said earlier that this my dream car and since no car is perfect then it looks like my dream car will remain a dream!

A big welcome to the family of bhpians. If you are a automobile lover then this is the place for you. Also other than automobile many interesting things exists in this great forum. You will enjoy every moment of life on this forum.

I had posted an inquiry regarding modification of my elantra. I would like to know how to post such inquiries? I still don't know whether it was the correct place, as I can't see it under "New Posts". One more question how to see all posts made by me? I tried using User CP > List Subscriptions. Thanks in advance.

Yes in one way you can call it a coincidence Jidousha (actually I too realised it when you pointed it out ) but actually I selected my user name over the famous the famous gadget loaded car (from the cartoon Speed Racer). Would really love to see it (and own it) into reality with all those gadgets.
It was the first car that fell in love with.

Click on your name in the panel to the left of any post made by you.
A box will drop down reading-

Clicking on " Find all posts by Vasuki"

Dear BHPians and Moderators, I would like to know the statistics of Team-BHP (I know that they are available on the website's forum tab at the left hand bottom) but just out of curiosity I want to know the male:female ratio of the members of Team-BHP in order to see if the Eves are equally interested in our passion for cars.

Also is there any feature available on our website to locate fellow BHPian's within our vicinity?

Mark, posts made in Introduction & Shifting gears sections of the forum do not add to your post count. Also, there could have been an instance where your post does not add value to the forum and is not approved which again does not add to your post count.
I hope this clarifies your query.
