Becoming a BHP-ian!

Hi BHPians!

Got the green flag the second attempt! Thanks, mods!

I just got my brand new Innova last month (still dreaming a Fortuner), and big thanks to fellow bhp-ians who had given abundant amount of information and the finest details on this forum. Had a Santro before this, and still have it...

I've always been an auto fan, and aptly was first employed in Ashok Leyland Ltd Heavy Vehicles division at Hosur. That was a dream come true, to design and make the loved vehicles! Then went on to design and make satellites for two years (of course, at ISRO satellite centre, Bangalore), and had a blast of a time there (not in the typical govt service way - it was real technological challenge, and very very interesting)

Last 10 years in IT, of course, getting a reasonable amount of money to live in Bangalore, and sacrifice the elite 'scientist' designation!

Did a mod on my friends first gen Honda City (was a pretty adventerous project), and hopefully should be able to share some stuff from there soon.

Hoping to get to know more TBHP-ians soon...

Sorry, this is not my first post, which I badly wanted to be! Better late than never!!

-Sam

Welcome Samm!

So you're a bus designer turned rocket/satellite engineering and now the IT. That's an interesting journey indeed.

Why not start with a ownership thread on your experience with you new Innova.

Re: Becoming a BHP-ian!

Sure, i'm planning two things -
a) customizing OHC - custom bumpers (front & back), exhaust & air filter.
b) Innova ownership experience once I reach 5000Km
