Hi from a new BHPian with those crazy car-craze genes.

First of all, let me appreciate the work done here. Great !

Hello to all the gurus and members in the forum. I had seen some good collection of cars people use, but was really unhappy not to find a gallery of my favourite Chevy - CHEVROLET OPTRA 1.8 LS.

I will start to post some pictures of mine if the moderators allow it and create a folder for it. I saw an article on the head lamp which I too wanted to do. I know of a case in Trivandrum, where a government vehicle had this done after the warranty period.

I would like to know if somebody can enlighten me on painting the brand name (GOOD YEAR ) on tires like the racing tires. I tried enamel paints, but while running on the first trip itself, it blotted due to the temperature build up.

Will be back soon, after hearing from you all .

Do visit the Announcements section of this community. Once your membership graduates to that of a BHPian, you will be able to use the BHP Garage.

Also, do say hello to your Optra 1.8 buddy - Rudra Sen.

Yes, you guess is right ! Please introduce yourself with more details. Very excited to see NeSTians too here....... I think you are Mr. Noushad since I heard of a Zen story from Bijoy

Yes I had seen these terrific pics which were part of the thread. How can I attach pics from my HDD to a thread. Insert picture button asks for a URL. That's why I had asked the moderators for a Gallery dedicated to this.

Hi Welcome to TBHP.
I have never done this but i think you can try by using spray paints,You will need to cover up the area that you dont want to paint and just spray.I think that will do it ,but remember I have not done it just giving you my opinion. So i am not to be blamed if any thing goes wrong.Because i have seen spray paints last even in hot, cold and winter climate on our walls I dont know about the tyres.By the way someone has to experiment

I am Naushad indeed. And there are more than 5 members from NeST on this site.Anyways inorder to post pictures ,first go to imageshack and host the pictures there. Then copy paste the thumbnail link onto the relevant thread.Or just go through Announcement section.Everything is given in detail there.

Regarding your other query, you cannot get the paint on th etyre to stick for a long time.It looks good only if it comes like that from the company(eg:Hankook)
