Surprising to see not much of predictions for today's race. :p

My prediction:
Hamilton
Massa
Alonso
Kimi
Kubica
Kovalenein

My Prediction :

1. Hamilton
2. Kimi
3. Massa

Hope LH gets a good Start :)

clap:

Thats it ! HAMILTON does it - in spite of 3 drivers gunning for him and hot on his tail.

Well done boy !! cheers:

Its Hamilton from Massa and Kimi!! Go McLaren!!

N_C back to his back the Winner antics! :)

I couldn't watch the Shangai GP (thanks to Japanese cable & TV network for not showing F1 live), followed the race on F1-live text commentary, looked like a event-free Race, and for a change Hamilton kept his cool & won the race!

Massa & Ferrari have lotz of home work for the Final race at Massa's backyard!

Excuse me ? Can you justify that ?

He did it! Lewis drove brilliantly from start to finish to take the win. Now he leads by 7 points going into Brazil. It really is his championship to lose. I didn't particularly like Kimi letting Massa pass though. Would have much preferred a racing move, rather than a tame "let me slow down so you can pass me" affair!

Other than the excitement of Hamilton winning it, the race was very much a boring affair.
So sad! It would be better if the rains came down as they predicted in the beginning of the race.

Anyway, Hamilton won and that's all what matter now.

Superb racing from Hamilton. You cannot ask for a more perfect race.
Nice driving by Raikkonen and Massa too. Great team work from the two. It's just that today, they were not on the same page as Hamilton. Ferrari might well be headed for the WCC.
Heikki Kovalainen had bad luck and a bad birthday, but, before he went, he made sure that Alonso had him to worry about more than Hamilton.
Moral of the story: When NC and I sit get together and drink on our birthday weekends, it's beneficial for Hamilton and McLaren.

I didnt call and ask for help!! Saamne se bola.

Just shows that you depend on others' misfortunes and accidents for a Ferrari win. Also shows that you don't favour a clean, accident-free race.
BTW, you might have to eat your words in a couple of years time. Alonso might well be driving for Ferrari in 2010.

Not all commentators are part or were a part of the team. Example Harsha Bogle, he never played cricket. So we need not sit/drive an F1 car to say something about F1.

None of us is a commentator. We're just fans. This statement makes another Ferrari fan's comments all the more irrelevant.

I hope this is just a sarcastic comment.

Yaay !!! Hamilton won clap:.
Couldnt watch the last 10 laps due to power cut, but then LH drove wonderfully. Massa 2nd ? Kimi gave up 2nd place ? Team orders ?

Thats a harsh statement to make my friend.

Flawless drive by LH.
Looks like Massa's WDC hopes are fading away faster.
Unless something dramatic happens in Interlagos,I think Tiffosi will have to be content with the Constructor's title

Awesome! That Mclaren performed brilliantly. It was the best car on the track. Sad Hekki couldnt finish.
Alonso also drove really well. Hes on for another drivers championship next year at the looks of it. Had the race gone on for a few more laps. Alonso would have taken both the Ferraris.
Hmmm Ferrari & the Ferrari boys. Tried everything in their power. But were just off pace. And at last had to resort to those tricks(Massa overtaking Kimi).
That for sure looked like team orders.
Poor Raikkonen if its not the wall then its giving up his position to another driver.

Drivers Championship looks like its already in the bag for Lewis. Constructors..??? Decided at the first corner in brazil..???

Heard the commentator saying that if Santander leave Mclaren and join Ferrari. They would rope in Alonso and make Kimi take a sabatical for a year.

So that leaves us to

WHO NEEDS WHAT TO CLINCH THE DRIVERS TITLE:

Massa has to finish first or second in Brazil.
Hamilton needs to come home fifth or better to win because if he finishes in sixth place, although they will be tied for points, Massa will have one more race win than him.
And if Massa finish second, Hamilton needs to come home in seventh place to take the title as then he will have one point more than the Brazilian. But if he finishes eighth and ties with Massa for points, the Ferrari driver will steal the crown by virtue of more second place finishes.

However, if Massa can only manage third place it doesn't matter where Hamilton finishes as the title will be his.

Text-book drive by Hamilton, not a wheel put wrong. Massas race was terribly uninspiring..not the kind of pace you'd expect from a championship contender.

Did anyone notice that the base of the trophy fell off when Hamilton was holding it? Made in China, baby :uncontrol

If you walk into Abbey National (owned by Santandar), you have a video or posters of Hammy welcoming you and promoting the bank in an animated manner.

I would like to see Kimi doing that!
