That will be interesting. With rumours of Fonso looking for Ferrari. Kimi's seat might be empty for 2010 season..if he's stopping. Kimi did say that when he leaves Ferrari it will be end of his career too. Kimi's contract is to 2009... Ferrari might look for Fonso or Kubica for 2010. Massa has contract til 2010.

Also 3 of the 4 seats at Red Bull and STR are up for grabs, the 4th one being confirmed for Vettel. Wonder if they'll go with existing drivers (sans Coulthard) or go with an all new lineup. I'd really like to see Liuzzi back at STR-Red Bull and maybe someone else like Takuma Sato.

I still think that Alonso's move to BMW could be a very good decision since BMW are a technical team and Alonso is a very technical guy. He can help them with his driver inputs and since they've already won a race this year, they can look forward to winning two next season (which is better than Alonso's none).

All the losers clap: to Ferrari and its "affiliates" cry deliberately about a conspiracy which is not present anywhere and want Ferrari to be called the Cheats! Look at yourself Mclaren boys before you call Ferrari the cheats. Bunch of cheaters who stole from Ferrari who couldnt beat them on track. Remember the Mclaren cars in 2005 and 2006. We were calling them Fireworks on track with the number of engine blows and failures. Post stealing from Ferrari, they are now bullet proof. I remember the quote by Ron in 2004 when he said "The Mclarens are not red enough to go Fast". I got the point in 2007 when he stole the Ferrari specs. Shame!

I thought where all the Mclaren folks would hide their faces when they were caught for stealing and cheating last year. I am surprised there are still a lot present who can still blame Ferrari as cheats! Get over it and wait for Monza!

Well I want to point out a lot of things but looking at the moderators note let us discuss how the things are going to be in Monza.
But this is going to be cracker season for sure !! things will get pulled till the last lap of the last race, hope everything in competition is decided on track !!:)

Looks like another wet race for the season at Monza. Monza has rarely seen wet races.. the most recent I can remember was in 2004 when only the track was damp... It will be interesting weekend to see the pracing horses battling out with the silver arrows after a controversial Belgian grand prix.

This season has seen already 3 wet/damp races (Belgium, Silverstone, Monaco. And interestingly all 3 races were won by Hamilton (you can exclude the last race in Belgium).... Historically Mclarens have performed well on wet/damp or cold tracks when compared ot the Ferraris...
Even if the rains dont appear it will be bad for the Ferraris as the track is expected to be cool. Cold temperature, hardest compound tyres, the scarlet red outfit will be trying hard to stop the faster of the silver arrows. If the race is wet though, nothing short of a mechanical failure (or the FIA, of course) can surely deny Hamilton of the win.

Also to watch out is Mclarens are using the Belgium raced engines...the spa circuit and monza circuits are know to strain the engines a lot....not sure about the ferrari engine though!!!

Local reports cite there might be rain on all the three days of action in the Autodrome !!
I will try to follow the practice sessions timings and in case some one gets a hold of it earlier do post the same

Ten-day weather forecast for Monza, ITA

Kimi Raikkonen has ended speculation about his future in 1 by extending his current contract with Ferrari through to the end of the 2010 season.
The reigning World Champion's current deal was due to expire at the end of next year, sparking intense debate as to whether he would retire or continue.
But a statement issued by Ferrari today read: "Ferrari announces it has extended its agreement with Kimi Raikkonen to the end of the 2010 race season.
"Therefore, the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro driver line-up remains unchanged for the next two coming seasons."
Team-mate Felipe Massa already has a deal in place with the Maranello marque for the next two years.
Raikkonen's new contract puts an end to rumours that Fernando Alonso will be joining the team in 2010. Speculation had the Spaniard joining the team as Raikkonen's replacement and Massa's team-mate.

Was that a typo?

I am not surprised by the decision. It was always on the cards.
It puts an end to all those speculations about Alonso replacing him or the lack of motivation for Kimi. How would an outsider know about Kimi's level of commitment? Anyway that doesn't matter, all that matters is what the team Ferrari think about Kimi.

I don't think Alonso's gonna wait till 2011 to join Ferrari, since both the seats there have been confirmed till the end of 2010.

He can only hope right now that BMW fire Heidfeld and take him instead. I think leaving McLaren last year could be the worst decision of his career ever.

BMW are doing good and I think Alonso should join them of course he can decide to stick on with Renault perhaps they have a better car for the next season, the Renault guys are capable of building a championship winning car, with the new rules next year Renault seem to have a good chance and moreover they have been working for the next season hard and early !!
It is upto him to decide !

As far as the mind games are concerned, Hamilton should better watch out before he makes any comments ! This guy seems to be not only quick but brave and badly behaved !

This kid makes Schumi look like a saint. At least Schumi's antics were restricted to the track.

He is talking too much. Kubica was surprised for what he said to Kimi for not having ...
Hamilton is downright arrogant loser.
