But thats only allowed if you have half the car on track and half in the gravel. Thats what ive heard atleast. So even if he did get going it would have been investigated.Saw the marshalls trying to get the car on track but i guess it would have come into the fia's eyes had he got going.

There's some confusion regarding this rule. Yes i've noticed drivers being pushed by the marshals onto the track in the past, while some drove straight to the pits and retired, some went on to finish the race.
Hamilton was in no position to get out of the gravel trap at Nurburgring this season, his car had to be lifted onto the track and yet, he went on to finish 9th.

I think we are unnecessarily getting into Conspiracy theories!
Vid & Merve have rightly stated the facts, above all Hamilton too accepted it was a mistake!

Hamilton finished off his tyres well beyond their capability. He was losing 7 seconds a lap on those tyres. He was barely able to turn the car. you could literally see the inside of the tyres.
Also, Kimi and Alonso presverved their tyres better than Hamilton. That also shows the experience. You can be fast but to be fast and not be too hard on the tyres needs experience. |

Atlast the wait is over.2008 F1 Season kick startes this weekend.clap:
My prediction is:
1.Raikkonen
2.Hamilton
3.Massa
Force India: i think both the cars will finish in top ten.
So what do you guys think...
1. Raikkonen
2. Massa
3. Hamilton
Atleast 1 Force India car will finish, but not in top 10.
1. Massa
2. Raikkonen
3. Alonso
What no Alonso in top 3?
The season is too open this time to predict anything, at least for the first couple of races I feel.
Still here goes -
Hamilton
Alonso
Any Ferrari :D
The wait is over. Practice session tomorrow will give us a glimpse of things to come. First race of the year is always a tricky one, but here goes:
1. Kimi
2. Lewis
3. Massa
Redbull, Williams and Renault should finish in the top 10. Lets hope both Force India cars finish, and finish well!
1. Hamilton
2. Alonso
3. Massa
I hope force finishes atleast. Toyota took a around 2 seasons to get adjusted and fine tune... i dont expect this team to hit the ground running too fast. I wish them luck! need to see how they do it!
1. Kimi
2. Alonso
3. Hamilton
Guys what do you say about the Force India cars?
Would they finish the races or not ?
1. Massa
2. Hamilton
3. Alonso
1 Massa
2 Kimi
3 BMW's
4 hamilton
5 Bmw's
6 alonso
Doesn't take rocket science, but from the results of the winter testing, it ought to be Raikkonen winning with Massa and Hamilton taking the other two podium finishes.
