during the Japanese GP, they said that from that weekend, the Spyker team would be refered to as the Kingfisher team.

Very thin chances of team Spyker being reffered to as "Team Kingfisher", as Kingfisher is still an official partner of the TOYOTA-F1 racing team!!
"FLY KINGFISHER" had signed a 2 yrs contarct with Team TOYOTA-F1 at the beginning of the 2007 season!!
In a recent interview, Mr. Vijay Mallya announced the establishment of a new joint venture company called "ORANGE INDIA" together with the Mol family!!!
So team Spyker is now officially Team "ORANGE INDIA"!!! :Cheering:

Will look quite odd with some driver of another nationality driving.
eg. "Hi, I'm Ralf Schumacher. I'm German. I drive for Team Force India."
None of the other teams have their country names. How would Team McLaren England sound? Or Team Ferrari Italy? Or Team Toyota Japan. IMO, Mallya's team should just be called Force.
Anyway, most teams have their factories in England, Germany and Italy.
I tihnk its pretty cool to have India as part of the name.

Will they HAVE to travel by Kingfisher airways or consume other UB products? I think theres a bigger advantage in band building and promotion than increasing sales.

yea Kingfisher Racing wouldv been ideal I guess.
I think Team Force India is quite bad branding from Mallyas UB perspective, however as he mentioned earlier its his personal initiative, so he can call it whatever he wants to.
If Team Force India works for him good for him. Also looks like the logo has the Indian flag?
Is this the new team logo?
Like rehaan said it only reminds me of the Tempo brand now renamed as 'Force'

I think we can be assured that he will have the hottest pit babes. Lets hope the next Kingfisher Calender is based on the the team and the cars, now that would be something
