The Driver line-up this year, for the first time in the history of Formula 1, is same as last year.

Would love to hear your predictions on the pecking order of the teams.

Where to watch F1 in India, is it still the F1 TV way or we can watch at OTT or TV channels?

Unfortunately, as of now, there are still no other ways to watch F1 in India besides using F1 TV itself.

Apparently Fancode is giving away season pass for 599 rupees.

Fancode to broadcast F1 Race in Inda

It is official now. It is a very good price of 599 rupees for the season.

Three different teams have topped FP1 (RB Honda RBPT), FP2 (Mercedes) and FP3 (Ferrari). Let's see what qualifying holds.

I think RB was sandbagging in the FP sessions. During testing Sainz did a late 1.29s lap, so unless Mercedes was also sandbagging today, there's a lot that Ferrari(?) can easily do. Everyone is about to uncover their masks in about an hour from now.

Race is on a Saturday this time? I didn't realize it until I read the above line. The Saudi race too. I don't remember which day it was last year for these two races.

Lewis said that their long run race pace was troubling yesterday and he hinted that they have to trim down the qualifying pace to concentrate on the race pace. Only Redbull can have it both ways.

Didn’t expect Ferrari to do so well and as a Tifosi, don’t want to get my hopes up! Expected McLarens to do well in qualifying but let’s see what they have for tomorrow.

Also, Charles Leclerc’s Q2 time was actually quicker than the pole position time.

All in all, going be an interesting race tomorrow!

Max kicks off 2024 with a pole! Top 7 drivers are within half a second. Hope we have the same pace from all during the race.

Re: 2024 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix | Bahrain International Circuit | 29 Feb - 02 March

And Max Verstappen it is!

  • Red bull in hand of Max looked quite handy all around,Checo seems to be struggling a bit with the new RB20 at the moment.
  • Ferrari showed the kind of expected pace(Charles did a slightly better time than Max,but it was in Q2).
  • Honestly, Russell's P3 looked a bit of a shocker to me,given how they were focusing on race pace more than the qualifying,Hamilton on the other hand, struggled to find that final quarter of a second.
  • P3 and P6 have just few hundredths between them, that's a really competitive zone.
  • Another shocker of the day was the Haas in hands of Nico, looks quite handy and quick.
  • Midfield looks very very tight as well
  • RB(VisaCashApp) looks decently quick.
  • One thing we all kind of expected was that Alpine would be on the backfoot, but I didn't expect them to be P19 and P20 though

All in all a very very interesting race is brewing up!
Cheers!

It was a good qualifying session to watch. P2 to P9 being just over 0.3s.

Not so much of a shocker really, and for two reasons.
1. Nico has always been an impressive qualifier.
2. Haas has been able to bring up the heat in the front tires very quickly, which gives them a big advantage in qualifying. However, this same reason also means their car eats up the tires very quickly, and it appears that they have not really been able to fix this problem. I don't at all think they've fixed the rapid tire heating issue and still made their car fast enough to make it to Q3. I fully expect the shockingly green Kick Sauber cars to kick the Haas cars down the order tomorrow. The William cars too, but I look forward to seeing if Logan can actually catch and pass Nico in the race.

A most interesting factoid, and it basically proves that the Ferrari is the fastest car out there, at least in qualifying trim.

March 10 is the first day of Ramadan, so that is the reason why they decided to do the race on 9th. Since the FIA rule mandates a minimum separation of 7 days between races, the Bahrain GP also had to be brought forward by a day, to avoid the two races coming 6 days apart.
