While Verstappen held his lead at the start, Norris soon closed in and briefly moved into P1 with a bold overtake, only for the reigning world champion to reclaim the position moments later in a squabble that enabled Piastri to pass his team mate.

What a race! Russell simply picked up the pieces. Sainz sounded very disappointed which means he didn't confirm any seat this weekend for next year. Piastri must be ruing the tough call yesterday.

- Lando lacked patience in his last stint today. He had fresh mediums, while Max was on the scrubbed mediums. The harsh truth is that 2021 ruthless Max is back. Yes, they were fighting wheel-to-wheel, but it was quite a move when they banged wheels, leading to punctures for both. Lando unfortunately had a DNF, while Max still finished P5.



- Unfortunately, the orange army would be disappointed after a long time at the Red Bull Ring as Max didn’t win.

- Mercedes becomes the 4th team to win this season and their 1st win since 2022. Russell gets his 2nd F1 win. He had commented yesterday that a lot could happen ahead, and man did he jinx it!

- A solid race from Piastri to finish P2. If only he hadn’t gotten his lap deleted during qualifying yesterday.

- Damage limitation for Sainz to get a podium. As usual, Ferrari is going backwards, while McLaren and Mercedes have upped their game.

- Hulkenburg in the Haas finishes season-best P6 ahead of Perez!

- Disappointing result for Perez and RB questions RB's decision of their 2nd driver. McLaren has got that part pretty sorted.

- Alpine teammates Gasly and Ocon provided most of the entertainment before the Norris-Verstappen collision. Gasly finished P10 to take the last point.

- Frustrating race for Leclerc as he finishes P11. He had front wing damage on the 1st lap and, in total, had 4 stops!

All in all, exciting times ahead for fans, and hopefully the summer break brings the teams closer.

Nando lacks experience in such duel. He was inpatient and wanted to get done with pass asap.
Max is having his first real challenge after a long time and making mistakes. Also I didnt understand by RB stategy of delaying the pitstop

Its funny how Max starts blaming the car every time someone closes on him or when he moves under braking or pushes other drivers.

Lando was impatient in over taking, but Max was equally naughty in pushing him. I agree with Andrea Stella's comment that Max dint get punished enough in 2021 and now has taken it for granted.

Will start cheering for Lando from now on...

Max did what Max always does when under threat, which is playing dirty. The 10 second penalty was such a farce. It had 0 impact, except that it proved who was at fault for the collision according to the stewards.

I loved how the race came alive in the last few laps though. Let's hope Silverstone also brings some nice wheel to wheel racing.

I agree Max was dirty today, so was Norris diving on the inside for 4 consecutive laps sure wont let him in good side of Verstappen brain. Max should have let him go but historically one never overtakes from outside on turn 3, Norris legit showed quite impatience. I don't agree with Stella, 21' Max was always penalised, while Lewis went free post Silverstone.

Max needs to calm down and Norris needs to up his racecraft

There's a reason Lando wanted to get this done quickly. The difference between Max and Lando was just traction. Max had scrubbed mediums and Lando had fresh mediums. In a few laps time, that difference in traction would become much less and coupled with RB's immense pace this weekend would have made it easier for Max to survive. Lando really didn't have a choice.

Lando was under investigation for track limits, He wanted to pass quickly and try to pull a 5 second gap.

Red Bull should have informed Max about the investigation.

Andrea Stella going overboard with his statement on Max, but everyone is guilty at some point or the other of crowding out the car on the outside. His drivers are no saint either. My only grind with the penalty system is if you take out your competition, you only get 10 secs. Something must be done to make it more fair. There is no way you should be allowed to gain more points than the destruction you have havocked on your competitor. Silverstone 2021 is a prime example.

Title confirmed for Apple Original Films’ Formula 1 movie as teaser date announced.

July 7th Sunday will see a teaser for F1 broadcast on the International Feed just ahead of the British Grand Prix – giving fans a tantalizing first glimpse into the action.




Titled F1, the movie will be directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced Jerry Bruckheimer, Pitt himself and seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, among others. F1 is set to be distributed in theatres and in IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures internationally on June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27, 2025.

The movie stars Pitt as former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, who is lured back to the sport to partner rookie team mate Joshua Pearce – played by Idris – at the fictional APXGP team.
