Formula One is heading to Las Vegas in 2023. The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix is scheduled to be held between November 16 - 18, 2023, on a street circuit passing through the iconic Las Vegas Strip.

Ticket prices for the inaugural Grand Prix are expected to be high, however, hotels along the strip are also offering race packages for the weekend. One such package is from Wynn Las Vegas, offering a 'next-level experience' with a ticket package of US$ 1 million.



The ticket package by Wynn Las Vegas is for a group of six, offering exclusive VIP access to multiple events, along with a number of other luxurious experiences throughout the race weekend. Customers will get "a collection of F1 Activations not available anywhere else". The group of six will get access to the Wynn Grid Club, located inside the F1 Paddock Club, red carpet viewing and kick-off party, VIP-only access to an entire roster of Wynn F1 race-week events and luxury transportation to and from the airport, as well as around the F1 paddock.

Apart from the F1 access, customers will be put up for 4 nights at Wynn's Encore three-bedroom Duplex, a selection of premium beverages, small bites and a Jeroboam of Don Perignon. Each of the 6 members will also get access to Wynn's Golf club, along with reservations at the hotel's award-winning spas & saloons. To top it off, customers buying the $1 million ticket package will also get a lifetime membership to Wynn's Private Access Program.

For that amount fans can expect a room in the 10,300 square-foot Nobu Sky Villa which has three bedrooms and an outdoor space overlooking the world famous Las Vegas strip.

Very high probability both these packages will be a sellout. While some may think these prices are ridiculous, this is not aimed at the average Tom, Dick or Harry. This is aimed at High Net Worth Individuals (HNI’s) who always look for a special experience, plus this will be the first time so even more so. This is for those for whom USD 1 to 5 million is pocket change

These packages seem to be more about 'around F1' than F1 itself. There is not much detail on how they give you better access than the paddock club.

Of course people paying this kind of money for a weekend would likely already have the relationships to get them into an F1 garage.

On another note, the ticket prices make sense for an economy where trillions of new money has been printed since the 2008 crisis

One Arijit Singh new year concert premium ticket in Pune costs 16 Lakhs! All you get for that money is free lounge seats and premium imported drinks. Compared to that, this is much more desirable. As someone said, look at it as a premium casino experience with the added benefit of F1.
