Re: F1 | 2022 Brazilian Race | Sao Paulo Grand Prix

though not a big fan of Toto, he really summed up the race - 'We have alpha drivers and not some puppy'.

The race was exciting, but it was really like bete noir.

- it was like Max knew he did not have pace, so lets get Lewis out.
- it was like Daniel trying to squeeze past K-Mag though he knew very well its not worth the risk.
-it was like RB knowing mediums aren't the choice but fitting checo with them instead of scrubbed softs.
- it was like Lando knowing and causing the touch.

Maybe there is something like race-fixing , similar to match fixing in other sports. They needed something like this to keep the spice up and viewership into the last race and next year.

//Just conspiracy therories though

All credit to Mercs. Their open flare for brake heat dissipation works well in tracks >40 degrees and nicely induces heat into their tyres. This is evident from all the tracks in hot countries and their performance in those.

Netflix DTS must be smacking their lips to add so much masala for the next season.
Keep the cash registers ringing, I say

On lap 8 Perez was second and Max was 17th plus a 5 second penalty. Perez finished 4 Seconds behind Max. Other than him holding Lewis in Abu Dhabi 21 he has been mediocre. Bottas was genuinely faster than Lewis at few races.

Perez was told to let Max through so he could catch Alonso. Max may have taken it anyway but Perez didn’t put up a fight delaying it to another lap or two. When Max had the choice he didn’t follow through and give the place back.

Re: F1 | 2022 Brazilian Race | Sao Paulo Grand Prix

Great race and drama filled.. good to see the Red Bull streak broken. About time for George too!

Seems Lewis and Max simply cannot race each other being civil. As a result of their escapades of the past 2 years, I feel the standards of close driving across the grid have dropped. Quite a few drivers behaving badly this year.. even with team mates.

Alpine created a good cushion to seal P4 after a disaster of a Sprint.

Strange to hear Max being so aggressive on the radio to over ride the call from the team.
There must be something serious to elicit such a response.
Perez intentionally crashing in Monaco seems to be the reason!?

Onto the last weekend of the season.
