16th of the 19 races this year. Since this track is out of 2014 calender, Wonder whats in store for future of this awesome circuit. We come to the Buddh International Circuit for the Formula1 Indian GrandPrix 2013. For me and many others here, this circuit has been THE BEST of the lot and a proud moment to have F1 this close to the country.
Hopefully Vettel will seal his WDC here, so will REDBULL claim their yet another dominant WCC, all the best to them. For the others like Massa, Hulkenberg, it will be great platform for 2014 for new teams.
Atleast for the Indian GP i expect ESPN HD to telecast the race, Just hope. Anyone can confirm this please.

The photos 1,2 and 4 are breathtaking.
Its sad that there will be no Indian Grand Prix (IGP) this calendar year.
But they had plans to shift IGP from October to April in the next calendar year. Isn't it ?

I feel October is much better time for IGP becasue the weather is much pleasant in october and with festive season around the corner there would be better turn up as compared to April's blistering heat!
Nice touch with the Buddh written in Hindi there Pavan : ).
While no fan of Vettel I'm glad that there will be a World Champion being crowned in our Grand Prix! Although I hope for a good fight for the win instead of the usual lights to flag victory.
Oh and has there been any news on if they've made further efforts in improving the greenery in and around the track this year?
Hey guys.. Will be at Buddh for Quali and race. Anyone else going?

I have been to both of the previous races and am toying with the thought of whether to go or watch at home, let's see. BTW which stand are you going to be in?

Am at the Grandstand.
Im going to be there for the Qualifying and the final race. Havent booked the tickets as yet, wanted some feedback on this before doing so. There seem to be only 3 options in Book my show.com. Grand stand, Star stand east & South premium stand { apart from the picnic stand}. Is it worth 10-15k for the grandstand, if not which is the better option, east or south? Secondly, my brother who has been going to buddh for the last 2 years says that some of the stands are not visible in the website booking. Is this right? Are some sections of track reserved only for sale at the venue?
And lastly, can one only buy the qualifiying pass separately in the venue?
I will be in the North Picnic stand for the race on Sunday.
All the stands were available for booking from bookmyshow.com. However currently only 3 stands are available. The rest have been sold out.
Tickets can not be bought from the track, unless someone is selling them in black.
In fact, you won't be allowed to enter the complex unless you show the ticket and a valid parking pass.
What was it that I read in this morning's paper something about entertainment tax or luxury tax or some sort of a tax by the UP government for the GP this weekend? First of all, many of us were very happy that F1 and other motor racing has a place in India too. Then we have a break in 2014. Now is the UP government ensuring they hit the last nail in the coffin by this update or what?
Is this only in India? Do other countries have this tax problem?

I am also in the Main Grandstand (Lower tier). Lets catch up. Any one else watching the race from Grandstand?
Last year I left the race midway when I realised Finger boy is running away with it. I am hoping he doesn't win this time.
I will be at North premium stand, next to the grand stand.. Perfect view for Turn 1, 2, 3 and pit exit. Anyone with a seat there meet?
Thanks
