Does not look like they are going any further with the new Front Wing Looks like the Scarlet Brigade will be dissapointed this year.

Massa is a clear dissapointment. Cant see Ferrari Bleeding with him in the team.

Mclarens are for sure are a hot property to watch out for.

Mercedes and especially Michael Schumacher is showing what it means to give him a good car

RBR are having a mixed season, not sure how good they are, Only this race will give a clear indication of whats in store for we fans this season.

Cant wait for the second Qualifying.

Alonso's race pace is not bad with fuel on board, was lapping in 1m43s on mediums. Kimi' race pace on Hard tyres look good too, very comparable to the Merc & RBR.

And of course McLaren is the car to have.

With the off-season testing curbed to a minimal, Practice sessions are not necessarily indicative of the actual race pace. Teams try out different combinations of the car setup, tyres, aero settings etc. to judge performance before the Qualifying/Race. Teams that already have sufficient test results and so to say good package are likely to top the timings. McLaren and Mercedes topping the charts in Practice 2 is a sign. This might not necessarily be true though.

Even Qualifying pace can be misleading at times based on the strategy for a driver/team. But it is much better indicator than Practice sessions.

Finally, its the Race pace that counts. All predictions go for a toss when rain plays its own games. Look at both the practice session - rain was predicted and it didn't happen at all.

I feel that it is just a matter of time before Ferrari turn the season around. They may not have the ultimate pace of the McLarens but are quite steady with the race pace. They might have to be aggressive in their strategy (3 pits instead of 2) etc to try and push their luck into getting more points while the car is being worked on.

MercGP are papering over the cracks with their Qualifying pace using the F-Duct. Their race pace is still poor and now they have to fight Williams and Lotus too in the midfield.

I am sad Schumi actually went to that team. They don't seem to understand their car at all to solidly improve in all areas. They must have been like McLaren, instead they are still behind a couple of teams for the third year running.

RB threaten with their strong race pace. instead of their super quick Q3 lap. I bet Vettel and Webber will be keeping McLaren's busy during the race if not in qualifying.

FP3 was topsy turvy because of wet track delay of 12 minutes.
Ferrari problems continue.

What a qualifying


Mclarens are becoming unbeatable this season.

And Mr Michael Schumacher... What a fantastic P3

The Iceman sure cometh. I loved his driving, sad for his penalty.

Schumi will get the podium tomorrow courtesy Hamilton, The only threat Schumi must be aware of are the 2 RBR's behind him.

Now the season is unfolding in its second race.

Its not Schumi but Kimi who was given a 5 grid place Panelty for a gearbox change. Schumi has the best qualifying position 3rd since his come back. Lets see what happens in the race.
