Is that chrome on bumper? Looks more like a angry Beemer :(
The new design is on the lines of it's bigger sibling the XJ. Especially the headlights look quite similar to XJ. Looks good in this pic, let's wait for more pics before passing any verdict.

My thoughts exactly. I love the color! Any pics of the rear? Is that altered too? Lets wait and watch.
Cheers!

IIRC the earlier XF's too had chrome inserts.

I don't see any reason why it wont. The current XF has a diesel avatar, ie the XF S. This one should get a diesel mill as well. Only time will tell.
Cheers!

Looks exactly how a Jag should look (i.e lovely). The HL's some how remind me of the eyes we see/saw on the "No Fear" designs.
This is exactly what the C-XF concept looked like 4 years back! The front looks better now.

time to wait for the retrofit kits :D
I like the looks of the concept !! Its an ALL MUSCLE man !! And the scoop pic looks good too. Very much like the previous gen 5 series beemers. An angry face and don't mess with me looks. I love it !
Seems like just a minor facelift as the only noticeable change are the headlights. Everything else looks the same including the chrome inserts which are already present in the current range.
I always wondered way back when the XF was launched why they gave the headlights of the current XF that full circle on the projectors rather than the look they have given it now. Always felt it would look angrier & more like a "jaguar" stalking its prey. Guess i was just thinking way ahead of my time :D They have finally incorporated that thought into the new XF & its all the better for it (Not that the current one looks bad, no way!) :)
@Swanand - Yup, they do remind you of the "NO FEAR" logo
If the 1st picture is the final design, then I like the old one better. The new model is supposed to come with Day time running lights which are absent in the picture and frankly I see it as a tame design and doubt it to be the final actual design.
The chrome strips are not on the bumper but divide the bottom air intakes and look very good. The new model is coming with the following upgrades:-
- 8 speed ZF auto gearbox.
- start stop technology
- LED + Xenon lamps.
- new 4 cylinder 2.2L diesel engine with 188 bhp with a sub £30,000 price tag in U.K.
Jaguar will start taking orders for the new model from next month and deliveries are expected to start from September. This new 4 cylinder diesel version alone is likely to double the XF sales.
I shall be posting details of the new model shortly
The 2.2diesel is what Jaguar needs to launch in India. Price it around the E250/520d, and jaguar would have a winner. Style is a big priority for many in this segment, and the XF has it in excess.
Throw in better service packages, and Jaguar could very well overtake the A6 atleast in terms of sales.
I personally preferred the headlights shown on the concept. Makes the car look more aggressive and sporty.
