NOw this is totally insane .how did they manage to squeeze 200 more bhp ?

Wonder how this compares to the original veyron .A drag race would settle it.

A color is a big no no but still love the interiors.

Jeremy Clarkson, in his review of the Bugatti Veyron in 2005 had to say the following "It is a triumph for lunacy over common sense, a triumph for man over nature and a triumph for Volkswagen over absolutely every other car maker in the world."

Kudos to "One of the BEST CAR/ENGINE BUILDERS"..EVER!!

Guys, the drag between the Bugatti and the Mclaren in on the Top Gear Seasons is still Fresh in my mind, though I had seen this like 6 months back. But man what a Drag that was. I am sure just like me, many who have seen this video have almost felt the adrenalin.

I still remember in one of the season, Jeremy says why a "Sports Car" is a Sports Car and not other Family Car or Sedan can even come close.

Guess Mortals like me can only Imagine how a "SUPER SPORT" would feel like !!

The Dr. Would be smiling where ever he is for spearheading the project. Amazing feat. The roof just hints on how serious the car is about attaining a stable top speed. Apart from the colour everything else is fine. I think even the colour is fine coz when you are the best you can afford to wear anything

This car truly shows what Bugatti and VW are capable of when it comes to the ultimate in car engineering. Kudos to them. With every new edition they are pushing the envelope to greater heights. What remians to be seen is how much of this enginerring will pass on to the lower rung cars.

I mean I have seen this SSC Ultimate Aero TT at the Dubai Motorshow, and I have to say, its just a pile of junk! SSC have blatantly copied the Lamborghini Diablo for the exterior. The doors are exactly the same sort you would find in the Ferrari Enzo. There is no passion here, just some copycats who threw in a few turbochargers for fun!

But look at the Veyron, the normal one or the Super Sport, it just oozes with passion and craftmanship. It truly is a feat of engineering prowess. As Jeremy Clarkson said it really is a victory for Volkswagen over every other car maker in the world. And the Veyron Super Sport has just lifted the expectation of what a 'Supercar' must be like.

Oh and do watch the fifth episode of Top Gear (Season 15) today!! James May and the T.V crew were present at the test track when Bugatti was setting this record. The car will the featured in this episode.

And managed to set a new land speed record for a production car. Stig, just becasue SSC UA doesn't look the part, it doesn't makes it a lesser car. Even I understand that its no comparison for the mighty Buggati but I feel that the guys at SSC deserves their share of appreciation.

Totally second you on that Bandhav ,because it doesnt look the part and its from America..I also feel what they did is a terrific achievement.
I know the car hasnt got ABS,ESP or anything of the other fancy stuff, but to come out of the blue and put themself on the map with the fastest car is definitely something.
And the way they extracted 1200 bhp from just a V8 and 2 turbos still puzzles me.
The Veyron on the other hand has 2 V8's together and 4 turbos so thats twice the engine of the SSC Aero TT.
Now that sounds like an achievement right.

^^Yes, it surely do.

For me Veyron is the ultimate automobile, and UA is a super hardcore supercar for driving which you surely need more than two balls.
