Which are the sites where one can look at for used cars other than craiglist?
sulekha.com is another site one can look into. Desi people often put their ad in sulekha.

Try autotrader.com. May be more efficient than using craigslist. I have good experience with cars from there before. Many listings are from dealers as well, but you can get decent deals even from them. Desis sell/buy a lot on sulekha and eknazar.com -- but as usual buyers haggle a lot and sellers expect too much ;-)

Another What car, but this time its for me
My heart is downright on Ford Mustang, but the GT ones are above 10k and above. Decent Mustangs are available at 6-8k.
My budget 6-8K
Requirements : Coupe, Convertible
Options : Ford Mustang, Eclipse, Celica, Tiburon, Miata MX5

Please throw in your options and help me decide.

Oh yes one more thing, What mileage can bee good for Mustang?

Please help me decide

I would suggest you to go for eclipse. You will not find it tough to get a decent car in your price range?

if interested, you can go for an older 3- series convertible.

Some eclipse and galants in US do suffer from niggling issues.
If you are open to US brands, you can try a chrysler sebring convertible - looks nice and mature.
You can also consider a used z3/z4 (but that might get out of your budget)

yep Z3/Z4 are on the higher end.

Is Mustang not good? like saw one with 60k mileage 2004.
My heart keeps beating for the Mutsang GT ones but again way out of my budget

For your budget, you'll get a decent Eclipse, Tiburon, or even a Honda Prelude.
For that matter, you may even be able to source an older Civic Si.

A well maintained MX-5 is always a good buy, but it won't work as an only car.

Have you considered a Jetta / GTI?
You can get a well maintained one (MY2000 and beyond) within your budget - and you have lot of options with modifications too.

The Mustang you get will probably be a V6, which won't be an exciting drive.

Thanks aah78.
I had the same thoughts bout the MX5, its too smallish.

Jetta/GTi I did not look in assuming they have no convertibles
Also the tiburon i'm keeping him on option 2 for the same reason.

Shall look around for the Eclipse and the Tibu.

Bye to Mustang :(
