PRESS RELEASE

MINI JCW Dressed for the Challenge

More performance. More customization. More MINI. Introducing the new and exclusive race-inspired MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Edition – bringing the MINI John Cooper Works even closer to the track.

In recognition of the pure pedigree that underpins MINI, the release of the MINI John Cooper Challenge Edition draws John Cooper Works even closer to the MINI CHALLENGE race car, both in its appearance and performance.

The MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Edition is powered by the same powerplant as the MINI CHALLENGE race cars; delivering 155kW from a twin-scroll turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine. Developing a maximum of 260 Nm of torque (280 Nm torque available during Overboost) the MINI John Cooper works propels from 0-100km/h in just 6.5 seconds.

Now this Mini looks really tasty! Everything about it tingles my senses! Oh how tough it's going to be to choose between the Fiat 500 Abarth Esseesse and this hot hatch now!

Italian Job part II (remake) anyone?

That's a very nice idea actually! The Punto would be a great car for the movie! It looks great and drives like a dream! Besides, it has all the Italian blood you need!

But on second thought, an Indian car would be very nice too; since it would be an India movie! It would not only boost sales, but it'll give the consumers a whole new idea and perspective on that car.

Oh and this is the car I'm referring to: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/1667596-post2.html

hmm, a concept car- the idea is good. But dont you think it is much better to include a car that is already in production, rather than a concept one?
oh wait, we could also ask Mr. DC for his ideas!! i bet he could come up with something like Taarzan a.k.a the Wonder Car!!!

Well, we don't know if it would remain a concept now would we? Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope this reaches the assembly line!

Oh wait! What about the Swift?

And about the car being a DC, if that happens, I assure you that at least one individual on this forum will commit suicide!

. i think he is trying to improve his work. This year at the Expo he did a good job with the van/ mini bus. Give him a chance, maybe he could perform a miracle!!!

Swift- hmm...yeah but still not the perfect choice ( i dont know why, though).

We're going terribly OT here Mr. Bee!

To be brutally honest, I sort of liked his quirky designs right from the start. Although there were many of his designs that nearly made me run to the loo, I began to appreciate some of his work.
