Yes the American cars were spelt Crosley and British Crossley.

edit: There is Crossle from Ireland too.

ID:320 is a 1914 Stutz Bearcat.

The ultimate brass-era supercar of its time, this car had a huge 6,388 cc 4-cylinder T-head engine. Exhaust and intake valves were on either side of the combustion chamber creating the "T" configuration.

The Bearcat was supposedly the first sports car with an under-slung minimalist body and even less comfort (no doors, no windshield). In 1915, Erwin George 'Cannonball' Baker broke previous records by driving a Bearcat from San Diego to New York in 11 days, 7 hours, and 15 minutes.

With a motor sport pedigree and modern design for the brass era, the Bearcat was a status symbol for the wealthy. Today this 1914 Stutz Bearcat is worth US$ 0.5m (Rs. 2 crore).
