Guess the car and the car its based on.
1996 Baci Roadster
  • Car number 14 of only 14 ever built !!
  • Built on a brand new Thunderbird 4.6 Multi Port V8
  • Factory built by hand, on a brand new Ford T-bird
  • Built by the Besasie Auto Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by the former employees of Excalibur Motors.
  • Styling is a bit like the 1934 Mercedes 500k, but way more luxurious

Cheers!

Re: Official Guess the car Thread (Please see rules on first page!)

ID:932 is the Sultan of Brunei's 1988 Pininfarina Ferrari F90 built by Pinifarina on Ferrari Testarossa mechanicals, including the famous Ferrari 390 bhp Testarossa engine.

Designed by Enrico Fumia, R&D head, Pininfarina, initially keeping Ferrari in the dark !! Like the donor Testarossa, the radiators and fans were in the front of the car.

Note the Testarossa's five-spoker alloy wheels and double stalked flag mirrors.

Strictly speaking this should not qualify for our "Official Guess the Car" thread, because although a total of 6 were made, all were custom Pininfarina designer prototypes and all were made only for the Sultan of Brunei.

ID:933 is easy.
It's a 2012 Citroën DS4 THP 200.
Love the positive front-wheel-arch follower bulge and the negative rear-wheel-arch follower depression.
The unique alloy rims give the car away.
Also note the hidden rear door handles.

A beautiful number from Citroën. This car has won quite a number of awards for its design.

Ram, I maybe wrong, but think a small correction is needed in the complete name provided above. I think the identification should be 2011 Citroën DS4. The car was launched in 2011, and I am not sure if there is any specific design cues to say that it is THP 200.

The hard-to-trace ID:936

It’s been a while since my last entry here but I think I’ve finally found something both cute and interesting and, uhm, obscure enough to enjoy 5 minutes of fame in this educational thread. You can see as many as 3 of these sympathetic (though sadly dilapidated) things in the frame, and at least 3 more were made overall.

In case you’re wondering why the photo looks a bit messy, my apologies, but I just don’t feel like having some joker run it through Google’s image-recognition algorithm in order to arrive at the answer in seconds. Good luck.
