Ram - the Ventora never came as an estate. The estate pictured is a victor estate which came with the ventora engine but victor trim inside. Strange logic but true

That looks like a Lada Samara based car, probably a export version like Baltic for finiland assembled by Valmet Automotive...

I think it’s an early 90s Moskvitch 2141 (popularly called ‘Aleko’) but, as far as I know, it was indeed exported as a Lada (except the name was still ‘Aleko’).

Yep correct - it is an Aleko made by Moskovitch. Their first foray into front wheel drive. The bobdy shell is the old Chrysler alpine / simca 1307. In fact, it was designed for a transverse engine. The russians designed for a front engine longitudanal engine and spent time redesigning the front end for this

CCC’s Nightmare aka ID:901

Alright, ID:901 is the promised Kelmark GT lookalike that CCC hasn’t been able to crack yet. Let’s see how it fares here:

@NOS: Going by your logic, It could be a Series II, coz they also had similar wire spoked wheels (optional though). Just that the Series II had twin headlamp arrangement as a part of the front of the bonnet quite like the mulsane (differing in the arrangement of lights though).

Although I would go by your answer as TD21 because of the two small grille arrangement on both sides of the big front grille. Series II perhaps didnt have 'em.

I am sure, since this one has come from Sir Ram, it would be a 'doosra'.

Uhm, hello? Is my recent entry (ID:901) being boycotted for some reason or is everyone simply clueless?
