ID:827 looks very much like a 1957 Nash Ambassador. Am I right or is there a trick?

Man, this has become too heavy with all these human encyclopedias outguessing each other..phew!
a possibly much simpler one for the lay public follows..
ID:828... I have edited this one slightly to remove any references that can be drawn from the immediate environment, it may just be too easy for these brittanicans.

And you are right.. I expected atleast a couple of guesses, but this is just too fast. Just curious..What was wrong about not following the rules..the lack of clues? I thought this wasn't a particularly tough one..hence no clues..can you educate me?

That looks like a Hispano or an Isotta but whatever it is i not allowed her as it is a coachbuilt car and doesn't clasify as a production car

This thread is for cars that have seen series production and not for one offs

Please see the rules on the first post in this thread

We do not post kit cars, designer one-offs and prototypes here.
Only genuine volume production cars may be included.
That Paykan is a home built chop top and not a regular production model

Not so fast. This one was indeed intended for mass production, just that too many were'nt produced before the company went bust.. And there's your first clue. And no not a Hispano-Suiza or Isotta-Franschini. Definitely was'nt a variation or a chop top..

Clue 2: One of the original drawings for the body of this model.

Clue 3: Made in America, the company originated in Motown but moved elsewhere (of course too early to tell) later.

It is recognizable immediately by the side-mount hold downs and the wire center caps. Unusually small diameter for a large car.
