silver/black Storm with license plate "K806 WPB". "1 IMB" and "LI8ter" look the same. It could be the same car, with a new (more fitting) ...

Why don't you do that before you post?
And please post complete car images.
We have already had one friend, who would post a headlamp or a valve cover.

Sorry, someone stepped all over my post with another car, so I asssumed we were on to the next car. In keeping the momentum going, the answer is
1968 Matra Sport M530 Vignale.

Hey no fair!

One-off show cars (Vignale, Pininfarina, Ghia, Michelotts, Bertone show cars and prototypes) are not permitted!
Only volume production cars.

Matra 530's were built for many years with variations to coach work. That would be like excluding a Rolls Royce because it had a Park Ward body.

I'm sorry but that is not a good example.
Please check out
The Matra M530
for the Matra M530 as all know it.

And "Mulliner Park Ward" was a division of Rolls-Royce. They were acquired before World War two. And they did not make the Rolls-Royce cars unrecognizable.

And when we consider a GM car's "body by Fischer".
Fisher Body is an operating division of General Motors Corporation.
And they don't make the Chevys, Pontiacs, Buicks, Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs unrecognizable either.

Then what's a Vignale Matra M530 like?
This is more like the Ghia version of the Jaguar XK-120, which no one would recognize as a Jaguar XK-120.

The familiar and original Jaguar XK-120.

As rebodied by Carrozzeria Ghia SpA.

Just my opinion, CyCarConsulting. I still respect your vast knowledge of cars.

Guys.

This car was pictured outside the Mall of the Emirates on Friday.

Can't seem to figure out what car it is, any guesses ?

It has a plate on the engine cover saying its chassis No 00006 so that makes it a production car.

There was no know makers plate or identification present on the car that made sense.

The entire body appears to be in carbon fiber

Well, time to spill the beans myself then! ID 806 is a Brazilian Aldo Miura Top Sport(1989-92). Apart from evoking memories of the Gandini designed legendary Lamborghini, the Aldo Miura was a legend no less with respect to Brazilian automotive history! The brainchild of Aldo Besson and Itelmar Gobbi, owners of Aldo Auto Capas(car seat manufacturers and distributors of car accessories) ,the Miura was a affordable and beautiful sports car that was built mostly on VW and GM underpinnings. The car was a huge hit and production continued for 14 long years starting from 1977 in the state of Rio Grande do Sul,Brazil.

Ten models of the Miura were developed over the course of its production. The Sport(1977),the Targa (1982), the Spider (at the end of 1982), the Saga (1984),the rare Kabrio(1985) and the Top Sport (1989),to name a few.The Top Sport featured in my post came with a 2L in-line four mill developing 125 horses.
