Now you are right, sir. ID:762 is a 1952 Chrysler Saratoga.
Note the different tail lights and slightly different chrome.

ID 763 appears to be a 1966 Toyota Stout Pickup, precursor to the Toyota Hilux.

You are correct sir!

Starting in 1964 these trucks quietly started coming ashore in the U.S. Virtually unnoticed for several years they chipped away at the econo truck market which was then dominated by DATSUN. By the late 70's it had destroyed the competition and was well on its way to owning the segment. Ford tried with the Courier, Isuzu tried with the Pup, Mazda tried with the B series, and on and on, with no success. The key to all of this was a grey area in the law. While I was with Toyota then. I found how this was happening. There were trade restrictions imposed on Japanese cars, with the exception of what is termed "cab and chassis" vehicles, which basically is a truck without the bed. So Toyota sets up shop at the ports, sends a massive number of trucks without the beds, sends the beds separately and installs them here in the U.S. before shipping them off to the dealers. Notification goes out to the dealers about bonuses, and extra money for selling lots of these pickups, and the party started. We were selling trucks for cost and less, because Toyota was paying bonuses to everyone for it. That is probably the catalyst for Toyota's truck success in the market today.
