Wanderlust indeed my dear Aniket you have hit the nail right on the head. Isn't it a beauty ?

ID:655 Guess this elegant black car.

Some kind of an Opel or a Volga definitely something to do with Germany

ID 655: Is this a Simca? Based on the Vedette or one of its many avatars?

Edit: Just took a guess. So much design flair (note the raised centre on the bonnet) or the split grille is not characteristic of german cars. Might be wrong :)

ID 655: is a Horch/Sachsenring P240
It has already been posted on this thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/intern...tml#post975797

Thank you for that attestation of confidence SirAlec.
V-16 even got the year right!

ID:656 is a 1947 Tatra T87. Tatra národní podnik produced 3,056 cars between 1936 and 1950.

The picture was taken at Nashville, Tennessee, USA in the Lane Motor Museum.

The Tatra T87's humongous rear-mounted 2,968 cc air-cooled 90-degree OHC V8 put out 85 bhp that could push the car to over 160 km/h.

PS: also absence of a radiator, air cooled large engines, thats what tatra are famous for. I heard there's are the only v8 air cooled truck engines which passes euro 4 norms easily.

Was fondly called the " cyclops " like the rover, for obvious reasons of course.

Identify this one. Model and Make will do.
