So it was either Fiat (too small for that), Alfa (car too dumpy for an alfa) or a Lancia (most probably!)

Looked under Lancia and....voila! Must admit it looks a bit yankee art deco especially from the front
Boss that is cheating. I had specifically requested all not to visit the website to get the ID.

Here's some writeup specific to B52:
COACHBUILD.com - Vignale Lancia Aurelia B52 Coupe

200 were built in all by various coachbuilders incl pininfarina, so the one shown in the pic is a Vignale / Pininfarina, I am not very sure about. maybe someone would throw more light on it.

This picture was sent to me by Rudra.

Official Guess the car Thread (Please see rules on first page!)-traction04.jpg

It is obviously based on a Citroen Traction, though heavily altered. Rudra said it was bodied by Gregoire if I remember right. I strongly feel the front end is grafted on from some other obscure car of the era, it looks so familiar. Any ideas? I thought Kaiser, Skoda etc but no matches.

I dont see any match to the car Wasif posted, ie the same exact body. Wasif who built the body of the car you posted? How many exact same bodies were built?

A one off based on a traction avant. The grille reminds me of the Lincoln and the lights, a Panhard and the fenders, the Delahaye... LOL!!

It seems to be a serious mishap between the trac avant crashing into a container carrying a Lincoln and Delahaye.

Its definitely a one off. Maybe it should be in the unidentified vintage cars thread??

ID644: Probably a Bitter CD, I had its poster long time back, bought from a cheap roadside seller in Delhi, distantly remember the car but the wheels and the rear triangular glass reminded me of it. Not very sure though.

You are absolutely right mate.It is indeed a Bitter CD!
The Opel Diplomat-based CD, a three-door hatchback coupe featuring a Chevrolet 327 V-8 of 227 hp (169 kW), was built between 1973-1979.(wikipedia).
