Exactly, the car would be outdated by a mile after 10 years of testing. As of now the car looks great & it is high time they put it on sale, at the right price of course.

ID 412 is a fascinating story.

Back in the day, senior RTO Mr Bhatena and his 4 sons were posted near Aurangabad, in a smaller town. There wasnt much to do back then, so he brought home a junked Standard 9 for the kids to fiddle with, BYJ 7007. The kids proceeded to tear it apart, learning the basics in the process. The idea was to build their own sports car, so they caught a junked Rover speed pilot and took off the axle, drums, knock off hubs and other small bits. The engine came from a large Wolsely. The fenders came from a 40s Studebaker, and most of the rest was hand made.

This story was recounted to me by Sorab Bhatena, who was most involved in the build. He sold the car decades ago, and a few years back his brother spotted the car at a garage. He asked what car it was, and was answered "this is a very rare imported italian sports car!"

I believe the car is now used mainly for film and ad shoots. I also spotted it in a recent coke ad.

EDIT- ID 414 is a Fiat spyder, 1200 or 1500

I now recall seeing this car years back on a TV show, probably "Wheels" or the like. If I rememer right, it used to be red and black, with a Sardarji in Delhi, and had Opel Astra running gear in it!

Thats a Fiat Spyder 1200 if im correct. I saw the engine in the car many years ago before it featured in the movie and at that time it had an engine just like out 1100 but with a twin carb. Dont know what it runs on now

While your enthusiasm is appreciated you are requested to please go through the rules of the forum and the threads before posting in them. This thread has no place for one off cars such as ID:412 which has already been posted before and which is very obviously a take off on the Jaguar but is not a Jag. One look at the panels, wings, fenders, dash, windscreen, doors, bumpers, lights etc etc will tell you its a shoddy imitation. Im sure you would also not know what lies under the skin.
Once again for your benefit, no one off, kit, replicas, scale models are allowed in this thread. Also when one posts then if not guessed in 24 hours, the poster has to identify the car which i doubt you will be able to do in the case of ID:412.
Secondly only one car is to be posted at a time by a member so please restrict your urge to post more than one pic at a time buddy.
I suggest you flip through the pages of this thread and familiarize yourself.
Thank you
sorry for my actions, i will be more serious from now on & please feel free enough to delete my posts if its beyond t-bhps rules.
