My first post on the international scene! Loved your posts and would like to offer the following; Chrysler motors would take a Dodge front clip, put it on a Plymouth, and prepare it for the international market. About all we ever saw here in the states was the Canadien version, very similar to the Kingsway above. My best to BHP for opening up yet another universe of interest.

The Grand Canyon Echo

Hello from the edge of the Grand Canyon. Have had much experience with Chrysler products in my life. Presently own 1) 99 Dodge Stratus, 2) 2000 Chrysler Concord, 3) 75 Ford 4x4 pickup, 4) 2000 Ford Excursion. In my entire life my most memorable auto was a 58 Chrysler 300D with 392 ci, dual carter 4 barrels. In between it and the present I have owned Dodges, Imperials, De Sotos, and one Plymouth, a 59 Fury. Hope to be reading about restorations around the globe for many years to come.

Judging by the "frogeye" headlights its a pre '49 Prefect.....from 49 onwards they had the headlamps integrated into the front fenders....

My dad incidentally had a black '50-51 prefect bought from his brother in the 70s...that was his first car, he learnt driving on it.....of course he bought it because that was all he could afford to have then! I never saw it as he sold it just before I was born in 1981 & bought a Standard Gazel.....there are no proper photos of that car either but he said it had a sunroof as well.

Hi Amit V8,
While your enthusiasm is appreciated you are requested to please go through the rules of the forum and the threads before posting in them. This thread has no place for one off cars such as ID:412 which has already been posted before and which is very obviously a take off on the Jaguar but is not a Jag. One look at the panels, wings, fenders, dash, windscreen, doors, bumpers, lights etc etc will tell you its a shoddy imitation. Im sure you would also not know what lies under the skin.
Once again for your benefit, no one off, kit, replicas, scale models are allowed in this thread. Also when one posts then if not guessed in 24 hours, the poster has to identify the car which i doubt you will be able to do in the case of ID:412.
Secondly only one car is to be posted at a time by a member so please restrict your urge to post more than one pic at a time buddy.
I suggest you flip through the pages of this thread and familiarize yourself.
Thank you
