ID:394A; Triumph 2000 Mk. I

ID:394A is indeed a Triumph 2000 Mk. I (1963 to 1969).

It had a 1,998 cc 6-in-line engine that put out a max. of 90 bhp @ 5,000 rpm / 117 lb.ft @ 2,900rpm.

In 1968 came a late version with a 2,498 cc straight six. It was called the Triumph 2.5 PI Mk. I. It had a Lucas mechanical fuel injection system. Their unreliability notwithstanding, these mechanically fuel-injected cars are rare collectibles today. When they work, they really perform.

It had coil-sprung independent suspension on all four corners, with disc brakes in front and drums at the rear.

But the Triumph 2000 was the easier half of the problem.
What about ID:394B?

Yes Karl. ID:395 is indeed a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe Sedan.

The owner has lost the original hubcaps and fitted aftermarket wirewheel-lookalike hubcaps. Also don't miss the aftermarket chrome wear pads under the door handles.

The car is admittedly not shining lustrously, but Karl, why do you say, it's tired looking?

ID 396

1977-1985 Ford Granada mk2

Came with 2ltr 4cyl, 2.3 /2.8 v6, 2.1 and later 2.3 4cyl peugeot engines. Model pictures is the 1980 version which had re-engineered suspension making it handle fairly well. Did quite well in europe at the time when Volvo's were stodgy and german equivalents were priced too high

ID:396; 1983 Ford Granada Mark II

ID:396 is the European Ford Granada Mark II (1977-1985) four door saloon.

The Granada Mark II became the industry's benchmark of her time for executive car style, comfort and driver appeal.
She had Ford's Köln (Cologne in English and French) V6 engine in 2,293 cc and 2,792 cc forms. There was even a version available with Ford's Lima 4 1993 cc OHC engine, which came in my German Ford Taunus.

As she has the sail mirrors rather than the flag mirrors, she's a 1981 or later.

As the Granada in jayz's pic has the plain steel wheels, she's not a Ghia version. Doesn't have the rubber spoiler on the boot lid, so she's not the 2,792 cc.

I rather think she's the 1983 taxi edition -- a "stripper" available only in black. The taxi edition was sold with two different Peugeot 4-cylinder diesel engines, the 2,112 cc, and the 2,498 cc.
