Incorrect. MS is certainly Madras State.

Yes siree. MSQ is Mysore. My Heckflosse is a MSQ and was owned by the Mysore Ruling Family. I also had a MEV 5901 which was a 1972 LHD Datsun 1200 Sports Coupe which I drove earlier on. It belonged to Balaji the noted Film maker and (Actor?) and that was a Tamil Nadu-Madras Registration. He had two cars and he wrecked one which he had kept in his film Suraksha Gunmaster G-9 which was Mithun's first commercial film and a mega hit. You can see the car being blasted, bashed and what not.
My 1977 MERC 116 350S sports a TNN...number plate which is also a Madras car.

This is like the confusion one might have with Gujrat and Goa cars, one sporting GDA and the other GJK

MSW 9561 and MSW 7662 were our Lambretta and Herald in Madras.

My neighbour's green 1970 Fiat 1100D was purchased new in Madras. The license plate was MSR-9915.

I think ID:370 is a Triumph Herald based fibreglass kit car. If I am right, it does not qualify to be on this thread.

looked like a berkeley to me from the door design but i know its not

ID: 371

Looks like a Bedford to me of the Mid fifties but please no more trucks here. Lets just stick to cars and their derivatives.
