Are we really going to see the i40 as the Sonata Transform was launched a month or so back.

Seems like Hyundai has taken the copying to a different levels altogether. The i40 front is a copy of Merc S Class. EvenFirst Gen Sonata rear was a copy of the Jag S-Type.

Still hyundai sells 20.4% of the total cars in India and is 2nd only to Maruti.

i am not sure if this has been posted here before. but 2011 hyundai sonata has been spied in Dubai by a wcf reader.

shows the interiors too. and looks great.

there must be some influence from genesis too.

worth the wait i guess. too bad it is the most underrated saloon in our country.

Once Hyundai lost the plot and designed the current "vanilla" version of the Sonata it is going to be an uphill task for them to reclaim lost ground. They should make a splash with the new bold design if they want this model to make money for them.

and when it is officially unveiled i am sure there would be many more design that is influenced from other cars

Is this new improved Sonata concept is termed as i40? and what 'bout the i35 aka Genesis? Heard that its slated launch in 2010. Also heard that the Genesis will have a coupe version as well as a SUV variant (probably evolved Tuscon).
Correct me on the understanding here.

A bold new design! This time,more or less original,except for the ANHC grille. Looks a tad French though!

My favourite was the 1st gen Sonata released in India, it looked classic, whose looks was a concoction of Mercedes E-class, Jaguar and a bit of Volvo :P

Then it got worse, the next gen looked like Honda Accord, a class down.

Now its even worse , it looks like ANHC (though ANHC looks good ), even further a class down. Next will it look like Honda Jazz? or Say M800? LOL!! But looks apart, they r pretty good cars, so is the Sonata!
