Dodge Challenger SRT10

Go Baby Go!!! Check this out!!

As if the Challenger wasn't enough, they made an SRT10 Concept too...

Power comes from the Dodge Viper 8.4-liter, all-aluminum V-10 engine with 600 horsepower and 560 lb. ft. of torque.

The Dodge Challenger SRT10 Concept includes a fresh coat of Tornado Red paint with a carbon-fiber deck lid and hood. The “shaker hood” is a nostalgic representation of the 1970 HEMI Cuda, giving the 600-hp Viper V-10 engine room to breathe. Brakes have been upgraded and BILSTEIN® shocks at all four corners improve handling balance. The interior boasts sport seats and carbon-fiber accents throughout and, of course, true to the Viper-powered vehicle lineage, a red engine start push-button in the dash.

How Cool is this?

I think it looks overdone & trying a bit too hard. Nice concept but poorly executed.

P.S. And the rim choice is really, really poor.

Here is a challenge for you: Spot the difference between the new challenger and the old challenger.

This isn't a retro design, it is the same old car made with newer tools/jigs. My neighbor has one and lot of people mistake it to some old american muscle car.

Saw this Challenger SRT parked outside one of the buildings. Looks more like the R/T but it has the SRT badgings.

Agree with Ishan. Looks overdone. I love these new muscle cars.So true to their heritage and history, and yet so clean-cut and contemporary. Camaro+Challenger=WOW.

Nice pics, Wheeler !! Thats the way it should be.
