Citroen GT Concept Revealed. EDIT: Actual video added!

After the 6 part series of teaser images, excitement for this concept was starting to wane. However, Citroen have finally pulled off the red sheet on the GT Concept, and we are happy to say that our enthusiasm has been restored.

Intended for the virtual world through Sony's Gran Turismo 5 on Playstation 3, Citroen has constructed a tangible version for the real world. Measuring 4.960m in length, 2.080m in width and 1.090m in height the GT Concept is a substantial size. Enhancing its overall presence are the foreboding wheel arches with diamond-effect 21-inch aluminium wheels tucked under, and exaggerated rear end, which Citroen admits is oversized.

No specific technical details are given, but we can see from the photos that the doors open in gullwing fashion and driving information is projected onto the windshield via head-up display using red LEDs.

I'm probably going to get banned for this but to be honest... I think it looks daft.

I particularly dislike the dog scoops at the front. In fact I can just see a pair of human feet sticking out there!

It's an out & out ricer boy car! Just wait till people start fabricating ugly body kits for cars inspired by this design! Not that this design is any looker anyway!

This looks very "Transformer"-able. What is this thing?

Well, I thought I was going to be in a very, very small minority of one: glad I'm not the only ageing one here!

But it really is a fantasy-comic design.

As Jeremy Clarkson mentioned about the TVR Sagaris, someone took an axe and went crazy with it.

The whole body outside looks chopped up from all angles. I mean I'm all for cool vents and sharp angles, but they could've at least made it a little streamlined like the Aston Martins and Ferraris.

Looks like a 5 year old designed the car with surplus Lego pieces.

But then again, could it be the new Batmobile??

Are you guys crazy!!! Its a fabulous concept. Just look at it!

I think people who didn't like it are looking at the car all so literally. Make no mistake this is NEVER going to make it into production. Concepts are like field days for Designers they just get high and do something wild.

I think it looks great.
