This is one of my all-time favorite beetles:

Not hard to see why. FD-chassis RX-7 engine in that thing is just mindblowing.

Some of those designs are pathetic!! A turtle-bug?
I like the one in black, with the NY plates.

That was just too good!

I also Loved the overall appeal of the black one with a Vee engine!

This one is my favourite, very tastefully modified IMO

This is one car you either love or hate, my friend has one and unfortunately she hates it.

Most of the modded Beatles I’ve seen here were built in some wannabie artist’s backyard. I saw one pink Beatle with a Porsche Wale-tail and it looked absolutely disgusting.
I guess the best ones are the dune buggie Beatles which were raced in the Baja1000.
