Clarkson, Hammond and May set to reunite for “The Not Very Grand Tour”

Last year, a Grand Tour special titled One for the Road served as a swansong for the group’s onscreen partnership, which lasted 22 years, with Clarkson focusing on his farm and pub business. The emotional finale saw the friends and co-hosts look back at their decades-long collaboration.

But it appears it is not the end.

The Not Very Grand Tour is set to be released next month (18 April 2025), according to an announcement by Prime Video. The British Board of Film Classification lists Clarkson, Hammond, and May as cast for the new project. It is directed by long-time collaborator, Phil Churchward, who has also worked on Top Gear and The Grand Tour.

While I'm always thrilled about any content from CHM Trio, I suspect this new release is not something as exciting as it seems.

I have a feeling it is like a 'best of' compilation. Content that perhaps was filmed already and not used.

I'll be happy if I am wrong and it is genuinely new content. We'll see.

The BBC and Amazon must have hundreds of hours of unaired footage.
If you look it up on YT, you'll find bits from the news, and the specials. And they are amazing, if you're starved of TG/GT.
Wonder who owns the rights for these, it would be a money making mill on OTT!
