S-class w223 facelift claims to be a major one, inching closer to a generational change than a minor facelift. Hence, it will be interesting to see what BMW does here with the 7.

A lot of Mercedes's facelift for the w223 will be playing catch up to the 7, especially in the interior. I expect much larger screens at the rear for the facelift S.
But for the 7, I am not sure who they need to play catch up with considering they are the benchmark in the segment currently.

Hopefully they play catch up with a segment higher- the Maybach?

As the w223 is no sales hero hence they would need to do some major changes.

I personally think what this gen S got wrong was the exterior & interior of the S being almost same as the C where as the 7 is completely different and wanting to be a Rolls & not a S or Maybach IMO.
