2025 Chevrolet C8 Corvette ZR1 sprints 1/4 mile in 9.6 seconds & 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds

Chevrolet unveiled its C8 Corvette ZR1 back in July 2024. Now, months after its debut, the American carmaker has revealed its official performance figures.

As per reports, the 2025 Chevrolet C8 Corvette ZR1 is capable of sprinting from 0-60 mph (0-98 km/h) in a mere 2.3 seconds in the ZTK configuration. In addition to this, the Corvette ZR1 is also said to claim a quarter-mile time of 9.6 seconds at 150 mph with the aero package. These figures make the ZR1 the fastest Corvette ever.

To reiterate, the 2025 Chevrolet C8 Corvette ZR1 is powered by a 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 1,064 BHP. The power is sent entirely to the rear wheels.

The C8 Corvette ZR1 rivals the likes of the Dodge Demon 170 and the Ford Mustang GTD.

This is exciting, first a Corvette with 1,000hp and it is not even the final version yet.
Hopefully they keep the weight down for the version with the e-motor as well

A 1000 bhp all sent only to rear wheels. What a monster it will be to drive!

Also astonishing to see just how many cars are there currently with more than 1000 bhp or thereabouts.

Compared to some other cars in that class though, this one doesn't take help from hybrid motors to generate this staggering amount of power. Very impressive indeed.

The C8 Corvette ZR1 is a fantastic machine, but, from the video, the 0-60 & quarter mile dash stats seem to be for rolling starts (which most American manufacturers do).

This thing is an absolute beast!!. But I really think that the Z06 is better than the ZR1. Mainly because it sounds better, it is less scary to drive on public roads (ZR1 has over a 1000 bhp with all the power being sent to the rear wheels) do others agree with my statement. But there is no denying that this is a track monster.
