Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition with limited production run unveiled in Japan

Suzuki has unveiled the Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition in its home market of Japan. The ZC33S Final Edition of the Swift Sport will be produced for a limited period, between March to November 2025. Sales will begin on March 19, 2025.

Prices for the Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition start at 23,29,800 yen (approx. Rs 12.63 lakh). The final edition Swift Sport comes powered by the same K14C 1.4-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 138 BHP and 230 Nm. The engine is paired either to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

While the engine remains unchanged, what has changed is the styling. The Final Edition version of the hatchback gets a bunch of styling upgrades including a gloss black front grille, fog lamp bezels, red brake calipers, 'ZC33S' decals on the C-pillar, red/black emblem on the tailgate and a refreshed set of 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Final Edition Swift Sport gets a unique trim on the dashboard and door cards, 'Sport' lettering or 'ZC33S powered by Suzuki' wording around various parts of the cabin and a gloss-silver steering wheel garnish.

Suzuki recently unveiled the new-generation Swift in the Indian market. While India doesn't get the Swift Sport hatchback, the hot hatch version based on the new-gen iteration is expected to arrive internationally at a later stage.

12.63 lac gets you an AMT equipped Hyundai Exter in Hyderabad. But man that sure is one droolworthy Suzuki! Only way to experience this car would be to do so in some distant parallel universe.

Swift Sports bids goodbye with the 'Final Edition.' No news on all-new Swift Sport yet.

Re: Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition with limited production run unveiled in Japan

Maruti should have imported a few hundred units of this genration Swift Sport into India and tested the waters for feasibility (provided they priced it well, unlike the VW Polo GTI stupidity). The market has matured a lot since the Baleno RS days of 2016. It would have helped them build some brand equity among enthusiasts.
Alas, they've refused to even plonk in the peppy 1.0 Boosterjet into the light & agile Swift in India (an excellent match). The Swift comfortably does 15,000+ units a month. Even if the Boosterjet variant added only another 1000 units, it would've been a positive for them given that they've plonked money & localised the engine to quite an extent for the Fronx.

All the enthusiasts at some point of time have dreamt of owning a Swift Sport!
Even plonking the 1L boosterjet from Fronx would have done the job in India.
Performance check!
Reliability check!
Fuel efficiency check!

Wow !! A peppy and fun car by a Japanese manufacturer ??
Yeah that will never see the sun rise in India, I don't know how Japanese car manufacturers haven't realized that the reason they are loosing ground to Indian and Korean manufacturers is because they aren't introducing their fun to drive and reliable cars in India.
