Jeep has already released the teaser image of its upcoming new-generation Compass SUV. Now, details of the next-gen Jeep Compass have been leaked online ahead of its global unveil.

As per reports, the new-generation Compass SUV will be based on the STLA Medium platform of its parent company, Stellantis. The SUV will feature both a 2WD and 4x4 setup, similar to the current generation. The upcoming Compass is expected to measure around 4,500 mm in length. While design details are scarce, reports do suggest a pronounced shoulder line, flared wheel arches, and a reduced rear overhang.



In terms of powertrains, reports mention a 136 BHP 48V mild-hybrid unit, a 195 BHP rechargeable (plug-in hybrid) variant, and even a 100% electric option. The all-electric Jeep Compass could also be offered in three states of tune: 210 BHP, 230 BHP and a top-of-the-line 320 BHP version.

Reports mention that the new-gen Jeep Compass SUV will be globally unveiled in the first half of 2025 before going into production during the second half of the year. Prices for the new-gen Compass could start from around 40,000 euros for the entry-level 2WD variants.

This looks more like Evoque and to me,loses some of the Jeep character.Dont see the trademark square wheel arches as well.

The current Compass(although dimensionally smaller) has a more boxy SUV shape.

Waiting and waiting for the next generation to arrive in India.

Image is just a render and looks like they may have got the wheels arches wrong. Square wheel arches are clearly visible in the teaser released by Jeep:

It looks smart-ish and could be the success Jeep and Stellantis as a whole needs if there were plans to launch it in India. Compass still has a bit of brand recognition and there really is potential in the car.

The car in photo looks hideous, no way resembles a Jeep. The teaser image is more in line with their design language, such a shame that this will not make it our shores. Current one dying a slow death.

I personally did not like the design. The teaser image looks better and carries the Jeep design language.
In my honest opinion the current compass design is still better. It would have been a great car had it been 200mm longer

Cross breeding of Old ALCAZAR, Harrier and Current Compass.
For India, problem was never design (current Compass is ageing really well & the design does not feel outdated compared to others), its the pricing / value proposition which they have to solve. Either offer it at a significant lesser price (which I think is not possible) or justify the price tag with right offerings (200 HP engine, better interiors, more off-roading gears etc.)

Ideally Wrangler should be priced between the current Company &n Current Meridian [35L] and the Compass should be priced near XUV 700 [24L] to review Jeep brand in India.

Hence proved, it's not that the Indian market is unresponsive to American car manufacturers.

It's that American car manufacturers are simply unwilling to adapt and update themselves with changing times. It's a trend seen not just in India but even in the mainland US where the detroit giants have lost edge to the Japanese and Koreans.

Charging up-front 30 lakhs+ for a car smaller than the Alcazar is one of those bad decisions. After that, you refuse to launch the more desirable version of the only car which is keeping you alive in world's third largest car market.

In my opinion, they're fullfiling all their dues from the new-meridian and packing up in next 5 years. Bye-bye Jeep

Totally agree with you. Jeep and Tata should have agreed on a common terms to disbanded the 2.0L engine and get in a new 2.2L engine that pumps up 200Bhp along with this a new 1.5L petrol engine in SKD kits and revamp the existing car. They can also take the groups help and make an electric Gen 2 car out of the existing car and continue selling it. If they have the will, they can make wonders. It's a perfect size to make it an EV.

New Jeep Compass will be unveiled on March 18th.

- Built on the STLA medium platform, it will be one of the five models produced in the Melfi plant together with the new Lancia Gamma and the electric flagship DS N°8. The new generation of the medium SUV will be 15 cm longer than the current version.

- Jeep Compass is the second model for growth in Europe.

-The line has been renewed and will be more streamlined and sportier. As for the engine range, which is expected to be quite wide, internal combustion engines, light hybrids, plug-ins and 100% electric units with a range of up to 650 km are expected.

- The style of the new Compass will resume the family feeling of the recent models introduced by the Jeep brand and therefore will be characterized by bold and muscular lines. After the Avenger, the new Compass will be the second model for the growth of the brand in Europe.

the prototype of the new Compass is parked and being recharged, a detail that should not be underestimated: the third generation of the Compass is in fact the first to introduce an electric set-up that will complement the mild and plug-in hybrid endothermic ones. The credit goes to the modular Stla Medium platform, shared with its cousins Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland: in any case, the Jeep could differentiate itself with specific trims of the 4x4 variants.
