True. I was referring to a report from a year ago where BMW had a lot of cash in hand, so people were expecting some sort of a big merger. There were reports they might buy JLR, but that never happened. Guess they were saving up for a rainy day. But, BMW is by no means in as bad a shape as VW is.

The Europeans and Americans have been late to the EV party. Let them atleast get the latest technologies through the JV route and work over it. They can quickly evolve over the technical aspects once they get the Technical know-how. Atleast that way they can build up their R&D. But they should build over it but not ruin it with the expensive expenses.
