Next-gen Mercedes-Benz CLA teased; New entry-level model to be unveiled in 2025 Mercedes-Benz had already shown the concept version of its upcoming CLA sedan. Now, the German luxury carmaker has revealed the first set of teaser images of the CLA sedan in final production form.
The teaser images of the next-gen Mercedes-Benz CLA were released at the 39th Festival d'Hyeres. While the car was completely covered in camouflage, its silhouette does resemble that of the concept. A few details observed from the teaser image include a covered front grille with a massive three-pointed logo at its centre, air intakes on either side of the bumpers, LED headlights, reasonably-sized alloy wheels, pop-out door handles, and a flap, which could either be covering the fuel filler or the electric charging port. At the rear, the car gets a full-width LED light bar and a boot lid spoiler.
Mercedes-Benz is yet to confirm whether the car showcased in the teaser is an ICE model or an EV. The carmaker, though, has confirmed that the new-gen CLA will get both electric and hybrid powertrain options. It will be based on the Mercedes Modular architecture, which supports both powertrains.
The new-gen Mercedes-Benz CLA is expected to be unveiled sometime next year in the form of a 4-door sedan. Once launched, it will be the brand's latest entry-level model, as Mercedes has confirmed that it will be discontinuing both the A and B-Class range.
