Sorry, it's not electric motors. It's a modified propeller shaft with some actuators thereby implementing Suzuki's AllGrip Auto.

India is a guinea pig market for MSIL. The first photo of the car itself looks much more premium than the indian version of the Fronx. So many more additions compared to our indian version

Suzuki is probably the only company in the world which gives step motherly treatment to one of its biggest market i.e. India. I think this model looks good and with the added features will be a good seller in foreign lands.

If only MSIL launched their AllGrip models of budget cars in India also, at least for the hilly states, it would reduce so many sliding related accidents during winters and also help in the rainy and slushy season. Swift, Ignis and now also Fronx all come in AllGrip models abroad, but there is no such option to order these in India. To me, an Ignis AllGrip looks so much better, and serves my purpose, than to invest in a Jimny AllGrip Pro.

People living in the hills like me, just need that AWD capability in some miniscule % of our yearly drives, and not a proper low range transfer case, a premium of 1-1.xx Lakhs over the corresponding 2WD model will work for us, but we have to contend with buying old used 4x4/4WD/AWD cars, because such new cars are exhorbitantly priced, and they also lack any AWD capabilities below 10 Lakhs price range in today's market.
