World’s best-selling cars of 2023

Hello all,
Came across this graphic on my LinkedIn page thought of sharing it across the forum. Interestingly, note on how many of these are available and popular in India. Do we still have different dynamics on cars when compared to the rest of the world?

Note: Mods please merge if the topic has already been discussed or if there is a suitable thread, I thought of putting it in India Monthly sales analysis thread, but it is not relevant to that thread.

Tesla Model Y plummets from No.1 to 18 in Euro sales chart(2024)

Electric SUV was world’s bestselling passenger car in 2023, but is unlikely to replicate the feat in 2024.

We have the Toyota Hilux too and we did have CRV in the market for the longest time.

But our market tastes and economics are quite different from global trends, much like our food.

It's a shame Toyota's RAV4 or the Corolla Cross are both not available in India!

Toyota Camry is the world's top-selling midsize sedan.
Still popular in USA, Middle East, despite SUV boom. In China, it is used for ride-hailing service. Long live the Camry! (by the way, is one of the few popular global cars that uses only one name all over the world)
