There will be no manual Porsche 911 in 2025 According to reports, Porsche, for the first time in its 60-year history, will not be offering a 911 model with a manual transmission in 2025.
Having said that, Porsche has confirmed that manual transmission could make a comeback at a later stage. However, the exact timeline for its return is yet unknown. Frank Wiesman, Product Communication Manager, Porsche North America, said, "For the 2025 model year, we’re excited to offer the 911 Carrera GTS in three body styles and two drive configurations (rear- and all-wheel drive) as well as the updated 911 Carrera Coupe and Cabriolet as well as continuing to offer the full range of current 911 Turbo models, and of course the 911 GT3 RS."
Without giving too much away, Wiesman mentioned, "Of course, one of the many strengths of the 911 has always been the variety of models within the range, and we’ll communicate on potential further variants in due course."
Porsche recently unveiled the facelift 911 and the 911 Carrera GTS with a brand-new hybrid powertrain. Deliveries of the 911 hybrid will begin in 2025.
