The 3.5L Twin Turbo is the engine offered in Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX (Landcruiser 300 series).

Over the past couple of years, the forums in USA have been lit up with people having their engines blowing up under 5000 miles with spun bearings.

Some people had to get engine replacement done twice or more. In states l like california which have strong lemon laws, many people had Toyota buy their vehicle.

Since this vehicle and engine is new, and most failures happened early, it was being done under warranty, but now toyota has acknowledged that every vehicle manufactured till Mid februar 2023 are affected, and remedy is being planned.

My Tundra is June 2023 manufacturing date, and a hybrid (the recall apparently covered non hybrid only? ) so hopefully I should be safe

I was just reading about that earlier today. Looks like a batch of engines had debris left behind in the crankshaft main bearings. That'd destroy an engine really quick.
