According to reports, Toyota has expanded its pre-owned certification program. The updated pre-owned program now allows Toyota to certify vehicles which are up to 10 years old and have a max odometer reading of 1,25,000 miles (2.01 lakh km).



Called the 'Silver Certification' level, the new program will help reduce warranties significantly and also highlight Toyota's reliability. To get Toyota's silver certification, the car will need to acquire a minimum of 136 points on the brand's quality assurance inspection. Cars which get 160 points or above will get a gold certification.

Toyota will also offer silver-certified cars with a 12-month / 12,000 miles (19,300 km) limited transferable powertrain warranty. In comparison, a gold-certified car gets a 7-year / 1,00,000 miles (1.6 lakh km) powertrain warranty, alongside a 12-month comprehensive warranty.

I would recommend to do one infinity certification- Which certifies the cars throughout their life time
Here other brands are trying to give 45000km and 50000km as their last criteria, these are guys are just mocking other brands with sheer reliability and durability.
